Annual Father/Daughter Dance pictures

Mamarazzi looks forward to the annual Father/Daughter dance at our local elementary school.  We've had the opportunity to be the formal photographer for several years now, and it's just such a fun event filled with adorable, happy girls and their Dads.  Here are a few samples from the 2017 dance.  The prints will be sent home with the girls next week!

A Valentine's gift for Daddy

This adorable little girl's Mom contacted us a week or so ago asking if there was any way we could help her with a Valentine's gift for her husband.  She just wanted ONE cute picture of little Abby to give him.  Luckily, Mamarazzi has a 'realtor' special for this very case.  We met Mom & Abby at Lake Poway, spent 15 minutes getting way more cute pictures than we needed, and Mom got to select her favorite two.  Daddy's heart is going to melt when he sees these!

Mama Saves the Day

A good friend of Mamarazzi needed a picture for her new business cards (congrats on the new job!). She opted to use a quick and easy Groupon at a big photography company. She paid $16, so when the pictures came out looking like a totally different person, and not our gorgeous girlfriend, she wasn't too upset. For some people, the investment is bigger, and the results are just as bad. Thankfully we have a bargain realtor package, and were able to update Jeannie's pictures to make her look as gorgeous as she is.

New year, new clients, new locations

Our first shoot of the year was with a fresh new set of clients, the Curtis family. Mamarazzi had the pleasure of meeting them at Myrtle Creek in Fallbrook. While we have used this nursery before, it has changed considerably, so the session was quite different from the previous shoots at the same place. We used a couple of tried and true spots before the new, and the results are gorgeous.

We love the gazebo, bridges, and the lush greenery. We can't wait to go back with more clients, and explore the area a bit more. Thank you Curtis Family for choosing Mamarazzi for your family pictures!

Happy New Year! A look back on 2016 from Mamarazzi...

Happy New Year Mamarazzi fans!

One of our New Years' resolutions is to be better bloggers in 2017!  We have a mix of reasons for not posting more often - one being that we don't want to spoil any holiday surprises for our clients, but also, we always find ourselves busier than we expect!  We have active families, and time just zips right past us.

That being said, our business schedules are slightly less busy post-holiday, so we thought we'd take a short break to look back at all the fun we had in 2016.

Off to college!

Mamarazzi had fun with these two gorgeous girls, who are both leaving for college in less than two weeks!  It's such an exciting time for these two girls, although they're sad to be temporarily separated from each other.

We have a softball player...

And a lacrosse player...

They are both not only athletic, but beautiful as well.

The girls clearly have a great bond, and it was fun to capture their sweet friendship.

Summer efficiency!

This family has a tradition with Mamarazzi that has spanned 5 years now!  Each year around the July 4th holiday the kids & grand kids come to San Diego to visit Grandma & Grandpa.  Each year they schedule their Mama photo session and get their Christmas card pictures knocked out early!

Grandma & Grandpa love sending out an annual holiday card with their entire crew...

Of course, they get precious pictures with their grand girls as well...

Then, the next generation captures their annual holiday card photos, all at once!

4 years old can be a tough age for smiles, especially when there are turtles lurking that are asking to be fed.  We had a lot of talk of turtle poop, fish poop, and Grandpa's in pink bikinis, we'll do whatever it takes to get these kiddos smiling.

We were thankful to capture all the critical photos before big sis slipped into the lake...whew!
