It's Mama's Busy Season!

Hi friends,

We are so sorry we haven't been keeping our blog very current lately.  We dove head first into to our busy holiday season and haven't had a spare moment!  We also hate to spoil holiday card surprises, so we'll keep some of our secrets until after all of those are sent out.

We did stumble upon an amazing time saver though, and it's helping us a ton.  Here she is:

Isn't she cute?  Instead of etching a disc, burning data to a disc, and ordering a photo print for the disc cover, now we can just pop our images right on over to this beauty of a thumb drive!

Thanks PhotoFlashDrive.com for these amazing little time savers!

A fun Birthday celebration

These beautiful and fun ladies have been friends since their college days.  I could tell just from the hour I spent with them that there have been many hours of fun & giggles shared together.

This year one of the special friends had a big birthday, and these girls went all out to celebrate.  The weekend was titled 'Cherapalooza - the Magical Sensory Tour'.  They put together a mix of her favorite songs to listen to and celebrate sound, they did some perfume making for the scent, a cooking class fulfilled the taste, glassblowing took care of the touch, and finally - pictures were selected for sight!

We had a few mandatory formal pictures...

But, we spent the majority of our time together laughing and having so much fun!

Thank you, ladies for a fabulous, fun photo session!

Family Traditions

We'd like to introduce the L family.  Grandma and Grandpa, and Auntie K live in the San Diego area.  Dad and his family live up North, but every Summer they come down to visit.  They all get together and have a fun family game day in the backyard, they visit with all of their San Diego friends, enjoy the beach, and nice meals with the family.  In addition to all of the traditional family activities, they make sure to schedule their annual Mamarazzi photo session!

We have been photographing this extended family since big sister was just 18 months old.  She's now going to be six this year, and little sis is going to be three!

These cuties make our job easy...

Thanks, L family for making Mamarazzi part of your lives!

A new spot with repeat customers - makes for a great day!

We love trying new places and getting a fresh new look for the frames. This is Grape Day Park in Escondido with the Sutherland Family. We had a couple of shoots that day, 20 quick minutes each, but it was enough time to capture quite a few gems.

I love all the colors and textures of the different buildings we encountered.

We had such a good time with these two beauties and their family was a breeze to get gorgeous pictures of.

We also saw the Vesco Family who are about to add one more little love to their already big gaggle.

We could feel the anticipation between them as they wait for their baby girl to enter the world.

We can't wait to meet little Miss Lucianna when she completes their family.

If you have a spot you love, or find a new spot you'd like to try, send us a quick note and we'll get you scheduled!

Walk in the Vines to support Autism

Mamarazzi is supporting another amazing cause this May. This time its different though. This time we are supporting a cause that is very near and dear to our hearts. We are celebrating and supporting one of our own daughters who has Autism.

Autumn, Tricia's oldest daughter, is a bright, and amazing (almost) nine year old who suffers some major setbacks due to anxiety, a vision disability, and speech impairments. She works indescribably hard every day to accomplish tasks that many of us take for granted. There are many things that we would love to do for her, that would take away some of her stress, and help her manage a body that doesn't always cooperate with her demands. We have talked about signing her up for therapeutic horseback riding lessons to ease some of her stress, and allow her to be free every week. We would also like to get her the speech therapy she gets now, but more often, so that by the time she is headed to middle school she has more of the tools she will need to make friends and form long lasting relationships. Unfortunately, these services are expensive, and it's not practical to do them on a regular basis.

Thankfully, we discovered a fundraiser the Walk in the Vines for Autism. Amazingly, 75% of all money raised for this walk will go back directly to Autumn, to go toward these services that she so greatly benefits from. Please join us for our portrait fundraiser. Get your family pictures updated, and help out this beautiful girl at the same time. 100% of all money raised will go directly to this charity event, and for the team who will be walking in Autumn's honor on May 3rd.

View our website for more information and to reserve your spot.

You can also donate directly to the cause here.  Thank you for all of your support!
